Please be aware if you have not been requested to have a blood test by a clinician or consultant the phlebotomist will be unable to perform the test. If you blood test has been requested from elsewhere, please make sure you have your blood form when attending the clinic
The surgery has a walk-in blood clinic available to patients. This runs every week, Monday to Friday from 8am until 10:15am. Please note the blood clinic is closed on the first Wednesday of every month. If you attend the walk-in clinic, please take a numbered ticket from in the surgery’s porch way and take a seat by room 4. If you are unable to attend during these times, please speak to reception who are able to look at the practices extended access services for a more convenient time.
Alternatively, you can collect your blood test form from reception and attend the walk-in service at Harrogate Hospital which is open Monday – Friday from 8:30am until 4:50pm and on a Tuesday opens at 7:30am.
We have our Health Care Assistants who are at the surgery on a daily basis and can take your blood.
Please note you will not be contacted if your results come back as normal.
