Welcome to Church Avenue Medical Group

Picture of Surgery

We provide comprehensive NHS primary care services to help you manage your health and well-being.

Our aim is to provide a high quality, caring and personal health care service to our whole patient population by:

  • Putting our patients at the centre of what we do
  • Having a highly qualified and trained multi-professional integrated primary Healthcare Team
  • Offering our services in a safe, supportive and suitably equipped environment, using technological advances in healthcare systems for our patient’s benefit.

As we have on street parking only, we ask that all patients do not obstruct the nearby residents drive ways or public footpaths.

Church Avenue Medical Group is proud to be a Safe Surgery

Developed by Doctors of the World UK, the ‘Safe Surgery’ initiative aims to ensure that the lack of ID, proof of address, immigration status or language are not barriers to patient registration. Everyone living in the UK is entitled to register and consult with a GP. Please ask at reception if you have any questions.

We now have a portable hearing loop, which is situated at the front reception desk. Please ask a member of staff if you would like us to bring it in to your appointment.

We have communication picture booklets received from the Stroke Association, for patients who find it difficult to communicate. These can be found in the downstairs reception and one in the upstairs waiting room for patients to use if required.

NHS App

Owned and run by the NHS, the NHS App is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet — including prescriptions and appointments.
